Salted Ginger Slices (盐渍姜片)

盐渍姜片 (Yan Zi Jiang Pian)


This is an experiment to see how well fresh ginger preserves with salt.

Ingredients
  • 300 grams ginger
  • 15 grams salt
Preparation Time:  10 minutes

Cooking Steps

1. Rinse clean 300 grams fresh ginger, cut into thin slices, add to a bowl.
2. Measure 5% salt, that is 15 grams, sprinkle onto the ginger slices, mix evenly. Cover the bowl, place in fridge.
