Premade Stir Fried Pork Slices (炒肉丝)
炒肉丝 (Chao Rou Si)
Stir fried pork slices are no doubt the staple ingredient in many Chinese stir fried dishes. However, it could be a hassle to thaw a small frozen chunk of meat, cut it into slices, then stir fry with vegetables.
This recipe tries to solve that problem. During weekend (or whenever you have more time), simply make extra amount of stir fried pork slices and save them in the fridge for a few days, whenever you need to make stir fry dishes, simply get a small portion of it, so convenient!

Ingredients
Cooking Time: 15 minutes
Servings: 4
Cooking Steps
1. Medium heat a wok with 1 tablespoon canola oil.
2. Get 1 lb. pork meat, cut into thin slices. Add batches of pork slices to the wok while cutting them.
This will save total cooking time.
3. Stir evenly all the pork slices, cover the wok, let the pork pan fry for total 10 minutes or until the pork slices turn light golden brown.
Tip: The water from the meat will evaporate after 5 minutes or so, thus the meat can be pan fried with the canola oil and the fat from the pork itself.
4. Add a few slices of ginger, flip the pork slices and evenly brown them for 5 minutes.
5. Place the pork slices into a container, cover and save in fridge for future uses.
