Pan Fried Salt and Pepper Chicken Wing (椒盐鸡翅)

椒盐鸡翅 (Jiāo Yán Jī Chì) Salt, pepper and flour are probably the simplest seasoning for fried chicken recipes. 麻辣豆豉鸡 (Málà dòuchǐ jī) Salted black bean is a traditional ingredient used in many Chinese regional cuisine. This spicy chicken wing and leg quarter stew adds salted black bean to have another layer of flavor. Ground Pork and Fish Meatball Soup with White Beech Mushroom (猪肉鱼丸蘑菇汤)

猪肉鱼丸蘑菇汤 (Zhū Ròu Yú Wán Mó Gū Tāng) I always wanted to try more varieties of meatball, this recipe combines the ground pork and swai fish to have the nutrition from both pork and fish. Ingredients 1 lb. ground pork 1 lb. swai fish fillet 2 tablespoon corn starch 1 teaspoon salt A pinch of sugar A few drops of sesame oil A few slices of ginger 2 green onion (why buy from store? grow your own green onion ) Preparation Time:  15 minutes Cooking Time: 25 minutes Servings: 4 Cooking Steps 1. 微波炉印式姜黄米饭 (Wéi Bō Lú Yìn Shì Jiāng Huáng Mǐ Fàn) I am always fascinated by the unique flavor and bright colors of many Indian dishes. The rice with a vibrant yellow color is one of them. I happened to have an Indian coworker who brought a yellow colored rice to lunch, and I asked her what color makes the rice so vibrantly yellow, she told me it is tumeric. I bought a big jar of tumeric powder from a Chinese grocery store for $5, it is a steal. I decided to make this lovely rice using microwave, and here is the result.
