Dumpling Filling with Ground Pork and Leek (韭葱猪肉饺子馅)


韭葱猪肉饺子馅 (Jiu Cong Zhu Rou Jiao Zi Xian)


Napa cabbage and Chinese leek is the classic vegetable for dumpling filling. Since I grow leek in my garden, I picked fresh leek this morning and made dumpling filling using leek, which has unique aroma.

Ingredients
  • 1/2 leek
  • 2/3 lb. ground pork
  • 1 tablespoon canola oil
  • 3 tablespoon corn starch
Preparation Time:  10 minutes

Preparation Steps

1. Get 1/2 lb. leek, rinse clean and fine chop them, place in a large mixing bowl.



2. Add 2/3 lb. ground pork, 1 teaspoon salt, 2 tablespoon corn starch, 1 tablespoon canola oil, mix evenly.
