Congee with Oatmeal and Yam (山芋燕麦粥)
山芋燕麦粥 (Shan Yu Yan Mai Zhou)

Ingredients
- 1/3 cup rolled oatmeal
- 1/3 lb. Yam
Cooking Time: 25 minutes

Cooking Steps
1. Add 1.5 cup water to a small pot, turn on highest heat. Add 1/3 cup rolled oatmeal to the pot, stir evenly. No need to cover.
2. Get 1/3 lb. Yam, use a knife to cut off the skin, cut into 1/2 inch long, 1/4 inch thick slices, add to the pot, stir evenly. Boil, the simmer for 20 minutes.
