Simplest Batter for Deep Fried Food (油炸食物用的面糊)
油炸食物用的面糊 (You Zha Shi Wu Yong De Mian Hu)
I have been searching for the perfect batter for deep frying food for a while, and now I can claim I found one that is too simple to make a mistake.

Ingredients
- 1 cup all purpose flour
- 1/2 cup corn starch
- 3/4 cup milk
- 1 egg
Servings: deep frying batter for about 2 lb. seafood or other meat
Preparation Steps
1. Measure 1 cup all purpose flour, put in a large mixing bowl.
2. Measure 1/2 cup corn starch, add to the bowl.
3. Measure 1 teaspoon salt, 1 teaspoon black pepper, add to the bowl, using chopsticks to mix the ingredients evenly.
4. Add 3/4 cup milk (I use 2% milk), 1 egg to the bowl, mix all ingredients evenly.
Note: The above portion can be used for deep frying about 2 lb. seafood or other meat.
