Congee with Oatmeal and Yam (山芋燕麦粥)

Add 1.5 cup water to a small pot, turn on highest heat. Add 1/3 cup rolled oatmeal to the pot, stir evenly. No need to cover. 2. Get 1/3 lb. Yam, use a knife to cut off the skin, cut into 1/2 inch long, 1/4 inch thick slices, add to the pot, stir evenly. Boil, the simmer for 20 minutes.

西芹炒海鲜(Xi Qin Chao Hai Xian) If you crave some seafood , this simple and quick dish could be a great choice. Stock some pre cut and carved squid will save you a lot of time. Squid (pre cut and carved) 1/2 lb. tender celery stalk 2 tablespoon canola oil 1 pinch of salt 1 pinch of sugar 1 red hot chili pepper 2 cloves of garlic A few slices of ginger 2 green onion (why buy from store? grow your own green onion ) Preparation Time: 10 minutes Cooking Time: 10 minutes Servings: 4 Cooking Steps 1. Pan Fried Chicken Drumstick with Worcester Sauce and BBQ Sauce (伍斯特酱鸡小腿)

Get 2 lb. chicken drumsticks, measure 2% salt based on the weight of the chicken, sprinkle the salt evenly onto the surface of the drumstick. Marinate in fridge overnight for the best result.
